How the laser actually works

Light energy is delivered directly into the hair follicle, targeting melanin pigment in the hair shaft and destroying the root for permanent reduction. Most patients see results as early as 6 weeks after treatment 1, with longer-lasting results during treatment 2. After your treatment

Mild redness and slight perifollicular swelling are expected and fade within hours. For 48 hours: no hot water, exercise, hot tubs, saunas, or hot yoga; be gentle when cleansing or applying products. For 72 hours: no exfoliation and no direct sun or UV exposure. Hydrate daily and use SPF 30+ with reapplication every 2 hours when outside.

Most clients book a package of 3–6 sessions, spaced about 6 weeks apart.

Aftercare checklist.

Avoid hot water on the treated area for 48 hours. No strenuous activity, exercise, hot tubs, saunas, or hot yoga for 48 hours. Don’t rub—be gentle when cleansing or applying product. No exfoliation for 72 hours. Hydrate skin regularly. Use SPF 30+ and reapply every 2 hours. Avoid direct sun or UV exposure for 72 hours.
